Dear Sir,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Chin National Assembly to be held as on May 8-11, 2006 at Indo-Burma border organized by Political Affairs Committee of Chinland (PACC) i.e Chin National Front, Chin National League for Democracy (Exile), Mara People Party (Liberated Areas) and Zomi National Congress (Liberated Areas) according to the resolution of the Seminar on Chin Consensus Building on 7-10 April 2004.
The objectives of the assembly are as below:
1. Strengthening unity and solidarity among the Chins
2. Developing collective strategy for the political structure of Chinland within the future Federal Union of Burma.
All expenses including traveling, local conveyances, food and accommodations throughout the Assembly will be borne by the organizers. Please kindly send the name of your delegation who will participate in the assembly before or on 7th April 2006 for arrangement of local transportation, food and accommodation. You may communicate your reply through email or phone mentioning in this invitation. On hearing from you, we’ll send you more details information on the upcoming Assembly.
However it is regretful that we couldn’t manage to support those who come from abroad except neighboring countries.
Please find all available information (Background Information, Victoria Agreement, Statement of Chin Consensus Seminar, 2004) which I’m hereby sending with the attached files.
